Check-in time: 3 pm - 5 pm (please call if you need to arrange a later check-in)
Check out time: 11 am
• No ATV's allowed in East Middlesex Canal Grant Township
• Boats over 10 HP cannot be launched on Spencer Pond, but can be brought to be used on Moosehead Lake, there is hand-carry access at the small beach -only at Lintongan cabin
• Housekeeping only - cabins should be left clean and tidy upon departure
• Alcoholic beverages are allowed in cabins/porches at Spencer Pond but not allowed on docks or camp yard
• Zero tolerance for illegal drug use
• Quiet time begins at dark in Spencer Pond Camp yard - no exceptions unless renting the full camp yard
• We require those using our water equipment to wear life preservers (provided at no charge)
• No vehicles in the camp yard except during arrival and departure (exceptions: person(s) with a physical disability)
• Dogs must be leashed at all times when in the camp yard & messes picked up
• Cabins are all non-smoking, smokers can smoke on porches and in areas of camp yard that children are not present
• No tent sites or RV camping
Watercraft Waivers
The customer booking the cabin rental agrees to assume responsibility for:
1. The customer understands and agrees there are certain natural hazards in connection with an operation of a watercraft and therefore it is agreed by the customer that in consideration of the use of the watercraft content including life preservers by any person included in my cabin reservation, the customer by these presents does forever release and discharge Spencer Pond Camps, and all firms and persons operating on Spencer Pond Camps behalf liable from any and all claims, demands, damages, actions, or causes of action arising from or growing out of the use of all watercraft included in the cabin rental.
2. The customer further agrees to pay Spencer Pond Camps for 100% of any damages to said watercraft and the contents thereof, including but not limited to: anchor, oars, life preservers, and any other contents of the watercraft and to indemnify and hold harmless Spencer Pond Camps its employees and firms on its behalf liable, for any claims, demands, damages, actions or causes of action, against Spencer Pond Camps arising out of or growing out of the use of operation of watercraft by the customer and any person included in my cabin rental. This indemnification includes but is not limited to claims by passengers in the watercraft and persons in the waters about the watercraft.
3. The customer and any person included in my cabin rental agrees to abide by all laws of the State of Maine and to pay any fine assessed against the undersigned while he/she is using our watercraft.
THE Customer HAS READ THE ABOVE AND FULLY UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES TO IT AS INDICATED BY CHECKING THE BOX AND PLACING THEIR ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE AND AGREEMENT ON THE ONLINE RESERVATION FORM .
